Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate curriculum, fostering creativity, and promoting positive development in children aged 3 to 6 years.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans aligned with the national ECE curriculum.
Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Observe and assess children’s development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
Encourage positive social skills, emotional growth, and cognitive development.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance educational programs.
Maintain classroom discipline and manage behavior constructively.
Organize educational and recreational activities suitable for preschool children.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Valid teaching certification/licence is an advantage.
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in an early childhood setting preferred.
Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative, patient, and nurturing.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Knowledge of Lusaka or Zambian early education system is a plus.
