Learning to care for our planet starts with experiences that stick with you. Our Grade 4 learners recently stepped out of the classroom for an eye opening visit to Plastpave Zambia, where they discovered how plastic waste can be transformed into useful products like paving blocks. The trip brought our reduce, reuse, recycle lessons to life in a memorable way. ♻️

Watching our young environmentalists engage with the recycling process was truly rewarding. They asked thoughtful questions, explored how innovation can protect our planet, and returned to school with a deeper understanding of how small actions make a big difference. Experiences like these help us nurture a generation that truly cares. ❤️❤️❤️

Last week, our Early Learning Centre learners brought their Family Theme to life. The children dressed up as different family members, from grandparents to babies. It was a morning filled with imagination and smiles.

Through role play, our learners explored family roles and responsibilities. They built language skills and learned about love, care, and belonging. It was a wonderful day of fun and learning.

Last week, we visited ZNBC to see where the magic happens. We tiptoed into real studios, watched presenters talk to the whole country, and learned how our favourite shows are made.

It was amazing to connect our classroom lessons to the real world—seeing firsthand how news and stories find their way to us. A day of wide eyes and wonderful questions.

We are happy to welcome our learners, parents and staff back as the new academic year begins. A special welcome to our new students and families. We are truly glad you have joined the Woodford School Lusaka community. Three days on campus and the energy is back with reunions, new friendships starting strong, and learning filling every corner.

Looking ahead, we are excited for the growth, shared wins, and meaningful moments that will shape the year and stay with us long after the term ends.
