MISSING STUDENT NOTICE

The Technical and Vocational Teachers’ College (TVTC) wishes to inform members of the public that Thomas Phiri aged 19 years, a First-Year student in the Department of Design and Technology, has been missing since 29th May 2026.

Thomas was last seen on the said date and, despite efforts to locate him, his whereabouts remain unknown.

The College is appealing to members of the public who may have seen him or who may have any information regarding his whereabouts to report the matter immediately to the nearest Police Station or Police Post for further investigation. Any information, no matter how small, may be helpful in assisting the authorities and the family to locate him.

The College remains concerned for his safety and well-being and requests the cooperation of the public in this matter.

"Launch of New TVTC Clinic" continuation:

🎉 OFFICIAL HANDOVER OF TVTC CLINIC AND RADIO EQUIPMENT BY UNESCO O3 PLUS PROJECT 🎉

Yesterday 2nd June 2026 marked a significant milestone in the history of the Technical and Vocational Teachers’ College (TVTC) as the UNESCO O3 Plus Project officially handed over the newly established TVTC Clinic and Radio Station Equipment to the institution.

The handover ceremony brought together government officials, members of the TVTC Management Board, cooperating partners, health sector representatives, staff, students, and other distinguished guests. The event underscored the shared commitment to enhancing student well-being, health services, and access to information through innovative and sustainable interventions.

The TVTC Clinic will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellness of students and staff, recognizing that good health is a prerequisite for effective teaching, learning, and skills development. The facility will provide accessible health services and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment.

In addition, the radio equipment handed over today lays a strong foundation for the operationalization of TVTC Radio. The station is expected to become a powerful platform for education, community engagement, information dissemination, and skills development in broadcasting and media-related fields.

On behalf of the TVTC Management Board, Management, Staff, and Students, we extend our sincere appreciation to UNESCO through the O3 Plus Project for this generous support and for their continued partnership in advancing quality education, student welfare, and institutional development.

As an institution, we remain committed to ensuring that these facilities are effectively utilized and maintained for the benefit of current and future generations of learners.

Together, we are building a healthier, informed, and empowered learning community.

Congratulations to our participants who successfully completed our short intensive courses that started running from 11th May 2026 and ended on 22nd May 2026👏👏
