UPDATE ON THE 2026 YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION.

Livingston's Youth Day celebration for 2026 was held at David Livingstone high School. The event started around 07:30 with a match past from Mukuni park to the venue mentioned above.
In attendance, were Mosi- otunya training institute and school of technology, mulungushi university, LIBES, University of Zambia and many Other notable institutions.

Mosi-O-Tunya training institute and school of technology being an advocate of skills training to the youths of Livingston and other youths in notable districts across the nation of Zambia, was actively involved in this year's youth Day. Starting From community services up to the end of the program today, with a total number of 45 students representatives and 8 members of staffs including the Admin.

In an interview with one of the youths, line with this year's theme, " Rise and Soar", Mosi-o-tunya training institute and school of technology enterpretes the theme, through impartation of relevant knowledge and skills to students by offering skiis Oriented programs, which ultimately give them courage to venture into entrepreneurship and contribute to the national development.

Following the speech given by the minister of Tourism Hon Sikumba, we are grateful for the promise of more jobs to the youths. We look forward to continue working with the government in fostering development for the society we want and the future we want.

We are grateful too for the continued support received from Livingston city leadership and of course Mosi- otunya training institute and school of technology management. The event would have not been a success in isolation of your support.

WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION.

Mosi-O-Tunya training institute and school of technology, is delighted to be part of this year's women's day celebration. Which was held at David livingstone high school in Livingston Southern province.

The institution was part of the matching teams and was previledged to serve from the catering department.

The women from Mosi-O- Tunya training institute and school of technology are grateful for the support lendered from it's management, Livingston city leadership, ministry of tourism and other Corporate partners for ensuring that this event was a success.

Mosi-oa-Tunya Training Institute and School of Technology, in collaboration with other institutions within the city of Livingstone, today, participated in a community service initiative at Livingstone University Teaching Hospital in observance of Youth Day.
