Our students had an exciting week, they were privileged to visit the Livingstone Museum which displays a comprehensive collection of Dr. David Livingstone and Zambia's Wild Life.
It was a wonderful learning experience for our learners and a wonderful teaching experience for our teachers.

Throw Back: February 14, 2022 was not just Valentine's Day on GYT Academy's calendar, on our 2022 School Calendar this was Civilian Day for our learners. Civilian Day is a (unfixed) day that our school would purposely set aside for our students to partially abandon their school uniforms and experience attending school lessons in their civil outfits.

What a fantastic Careers Day we had today at GYT Academy, well done to all our pupils for participating in the careers day activites. A BIG THANK YOU to our dear Parents and our dedicated members of Staff for supporting the students who happen to be our future leaders. They were looking fabulous, professional and geared for their careers day thanks to you all. As a school we are already looking forward to the next one.

Today was careers day at GYT Academy, there is nothing more important to us than giving our learners the best education possible so that they can acquire the much needed knowledge and help them become that productive being they have always desired to be. Today we are proud to showcase the future outlook of few of our leaners as they begin to envision their career and purpose.

Thumbs up to Favour, one of our school's Literacy Club members for participating in this year's World Read Aloud Day which fell on 3 Feb, 2021.
Every year from 2010, millions of peope World wide have been celebrating World Read Alond Day founded by LitWorld in USA.
This year it wasn't posible for the school to celebrate as our students had to stay at home due to the pandemic. However, few LitClub members participated in the comfort of their homes. Here is Favour Sijabala who partipated in the comfort of her home, she explains how she loves reading and writing and explains how this has helped her.
