At Kool Kidz Pre & Primary School, Highlands, Livingstone, Zambia , we are 100% into The Scientific way of teaching reading which is via PHONICS. Simply put, a teacher can't go wrong with this method of teaching and as it says in this article, if a kid learns to decode words (sound out), that child wouldn't shy away from tackling words with more than three syllables e.g "incredible" if they have been taught in the scientific way...

Kool Kidz Reception Class kids checking out new books added to our upcoming library by Antonia Banyard when she and her sister, my friend Jocelyne visited Livingstone a couple of weeks back. Unfortunately, the kids were on their very brief one week holiday but they do say a big THANK YOU, Antonia and they send their love too!

Not quite polished yet, the 3rd & 4th graders are working on The Jungle Beat to be finally performed at the end of year 'party' 2024 with all trimmings like ullulating and traditional outfits.
