Day 8 of the 16 days of Activism. ✋
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is a global campaign held every year which started on 25 November to 10 December, it's aim is at raising awareness, strengthening advocacy, and inspiring action to end violence against women, girls, and all vulnerable groups. As social workers, we play a vital role in this fight by educating communities, challenging harmful social norms, providing psychosocial support to survivors, and ensuring they access legal, health, and protective services. Through empowerment, counseling, prevention programs, and strong advocacy, we work to address both the causes and consequences of GBV. Our commitment to human rights and social justice makes us an essential part of the movement to end gender-based violence and promote safer, more inclusive communities for all.✋
