What is Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Methodology?
Postgraduate diploma in teaching methodology is a one (1) year short course that focuses on the training prospective teachers and lecturers on how to effectively, teach their students or pupils.

Who is it for?
Postgraduate diploma in teaching methodology course is designed for graduates of non-educational programmes interested in becoming fulltime or part-time teachers/lecturers. This course is for anyone with a certificate, diploma, degree, doctorate degree in a non-educational programme/field (i.e health, business, engineering, and agriculture field) and wish to become competent 21st century teachers/lecturers of their field.

What does it have for me?
The courses introduces graduates of non-educational programmes or courses to micro teaching skills, knowledge, competences, and attitudes. The course also introduces such prospective teachers/lecturers to the pool of resources available for effective teaching of their field so that they can become competent 21st century teachers/lecturers.

It combines the arts of education analytics, curriculum studies, teaching methods, educational information communication and technology, 21st Century Skills, education quality management, principles of learner assessment and evaluation, educational psychology, educational sociology, philosophy of education and moderation of examination among others to make you an effective and creative 21st Century teacher/lecturer.

Individuals who obtain a Postgraduate diploma in teaching methodology will have an upper hand in getting employment as a teacher or lecturer to teach their subject matter in schools, colleges and universities on a part-time or full-time basis. BSc. Statistical Science

Bridgeway University College offer BSc. Statistical Science in the School of Mathematics and Education under the Mathematics & Statistics department. The duration of this degree programme is four (4) years. Medium of instruction for this program is English language, which is also the official language in Zambia. The Mode of delivery is Fulltime- FT, Open and Distance Learning -ODL and Evening classes.

BSc. In Statistical Science programme is designed for individual interested in becoming Statisticians. The programme combines the general concepts in Applied Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Biostatistics, Demographic, Environmental Statistics, Statistical Research, Econometrics, Social and Economic Statistics, Statistical Quality Control in creating a strong foundation for advancement of the studies is statistics. Students pursing this programme merger in any two of the field mentioned above in third year.

Graduates of this programme have employment prospects in the following organisation; Central Statistical Office of Zambia and any other country, Bank of Zambia, Data analyst for the Mines, Ministry of Education and other organisation, University Lecturer upon advancing their studied to at least a Master’s degree level. Graduates of this programme may establish their own firm and offer services such as data analysis, statistical research, and consultation at a profit.
