The Copperbelt University Economics Association (CUEA) actively participated in A market sensitization Activation at kalinginga Market during this years Insurance Week 2025, engaging with stakeholders and community members to promote economic literacy and financial well-being. The event highlighted a significant gap in awareness about insurance and its importance in financial protection.

-Widespread unawareness about insurance and its benefits.During the sensitization it was noticed that a lot of people in the community are unaware about the benefits of insurance and how to go about the registration process thats why there is need for;
•Increased public sensitization campaigns to educate people about insurance as this will help raise the Importance of;
-promoting an "insured lifestyle" as part of responsible financial planning
-Benefits of insurance, including asset protection, income security, and peace of mind
