How to Prepare for Your USA Visa Interview (Top 10 Pro Tips) πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Many students lose interviews not because they are unqualified β€” but because their story is unclear. Here’s how to prepare well:

1. Organize all required documents.
Bring your passport, signed I-20/DS-2019, DS-160 confirmation page, visa fee receipt, SEVIS I-901 payment, university admission letter, academic transcripts, and English proficiency proof if required.
Also carry your certified financial support documents.

2. Know your academic plan clearly.
You should explain what you will study, why that program matters, and how it connects to your career.

3. Explain why you chose that university.
Your answer should reflect research: curriculum, specialization, location relevance, faculty, or facilities.

4. Prepare a strong β€œWhy USA” reason.
Avoid general statements. Speak about program fit and long-term value.

Your DS-160, I-20, financials, and interview answers must match.
