MWANAKAMPWE SLAMS SCHOOL HEADS IN KABWE DISTRICT ON SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAM

Fellow citizens,

It has come to my attention that some school authorities especially in Kabwe District are diluting important national programs thereby presenting a picture that this government is unable to implement it's own projects and initiatives.

For starters, you may wish to know that the New Dawn Administration understand the visionary leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema is equal to the task and has always remained methodical and calculative in the implementation of it's projects.

Talking about the School Feeding Program, I can confirm that since it's inception NO District in my Province has been under-funded and so there is no justification for some School heads to inconvenience parents and guardians by soliciting for extra resources to support this program either to buy food or pay our staff who help in preparing meals for our learners.

Such reports are not only illegal and disturbing, but are a sharp counter to His Excellency's vision and efforts aimed at improving the lives of many vulnerable learners.

Going forward, I wish to remind all those trying to play cheap politics aimed at jeopardizing this project that my office will not sit idle and watch as you misrepresent this government to the public, but we will definitely help realign each other and put a stop to such acts.
