DECLARATION OF INTEREST FOR THE POSITION OF DEBATE PRESIDENT
Dear Fellow Students and Members of Kwame Nkrumah Debate Society
My name is Expredencia Chipalo, and I am honored to declare my interest in contesting for the position of President of the Kwame Nkrumah University Debate Society.
Debating is more than speaking it is about inspiring ideas, promoting critical thinking, and empowering students to become confident leaders.
I believe our debate society has the potential to become one of the most respected student organizations on campus even outside campus and Iam ready to provide the leadership needed to make that vision a reality.
If elected, I will work tirelessly to:
1.Organize engaging debates, public speaking workshops, and leadership training and those who feel they need to be trained .
2.Increase student participation by creating an inclusive environment where every voice is valued.
Strengthen the society's reputation through inter-university debate competitions and partnerships.
3.Promote teamwork, integrity,
professionalism, and academic excellence.
Ensure transparency, accountability, and active communication between the executive committee and members.
Leadership is not about holding a title—it is about serving others with dedication, honesty, and vision.
I am committed to listening to your ideas, representing your interests, and working with every member to build a stronger, more vibrant debate society.
I humbly ask for your trust, your support, and your vote. Together, let us build a debate society that inspires excellence, develops future leaders, and gives every member the opportunity to grow.
