Kwame Nkrumah University Student Union (KWANUSU) Ministry of Gender turned the campus into a hub of transformation, energy, and unstoppable ambition as she leaves office. This was not just a workshop this was a MOVEMENT. A movement that proved once and for all that a student with a skill is a student with a future, and a student with BOTH academics AND skills? That student is UNSTOPPABLE. 💪🏾🎓

🎂 BAKING: Because the ability to create something from scratch, to turn raw ingredients into something people will pay for, is one of the most powerful entrepreneurial skills a young person can carry. Every loaf of bread, every cake, every pastry is a product. A business. A source of income. Our students didn't just learn how to bake they learned how to BUILD.🔥

💅🏾 NAIL FITTING : In a world where personal grooming and beauty services are a BOOMING industry, our students now hold a skill that travels with them wherever they go. No office required. No boss required. Just skill, creativity, and confidence. That is freedom. 💅🏾✨

💄 MAKEUP ARTISTRY:Makeup is not vanity it is ART. It is BUSINESS. It is an industry worth billions globally, and our students just stepped into it. From bridal makeup to events, the demand never stops. Our students now have the hands, the eye, and the expertise to turn their passion into profit.💄🌟

🎀 DECORATION: Weddings. Graduations. Corporate events. Every celebration needs someone with the vision and the skill to bring beauty to a space. Our students now carry that gift and with it, the ability to create experiences and earn a living doing what they love. 🎀🏆

And to make it even more special every single participant walked away with a CERTIFICATE in hand. A document that says: "I came. I learned. I am ready."📜🎓

This was the FIRST EVER initiative of its kind at Kwame Nkrumah University and the KWANUSU Ministry of Gender didn't just organize a training, they SET A STANDARD.

Three days of sweat, learning, laughter, and growth. Three days of professionals pouring their expertise into the next generation. Three days that our students will carry with them long after they leave these university walls into their businesses, their careers, their homes, and their communities. 🌍💼

Yesterday, the Kwame Nkrumah University Student Union executive had the distinguished honour of engaging with the Permanent Secretary Education , Dr. Kelvin Mambwe, in a high level dialogue addressing key matters of student affairs at Kwame Nkrumah University.

The engagement was marked by mutual respect and a shared commitment to the welfare of students. Dr. Mambwe commended the Student Union leadership for embracing dialogue as a cornerstone of governance affirming that a union that communicates is a union that delivers.

The union expressed excitement and commended government under the leadership of His excellence Mr HAKAINDE HICHILEMA for his fatherly love of taking the education sector to another level and now making the policy of Free EDUCATION from primary to secondary into law🙏🔥✅ ma KWENYU ✅

Among the many items discussed was

✅ increased loans beneficiaries
✅ improved university infrastructure
✅sports and recreation
