💥🌱Roots & Shoots Club🌱💥

Yesterday, the Roots & Shoots Club at SHINE VIEW Academy met under the guidance of their group leader, Simbarashe Dube Siziba .
👉It was a special meeting, full of young voices and big ideas.
The pupils talked about the challenges they see in their community.
👉With confidence and care, the children raised one important issue deforestation in Walela Hills. They spoke about trees being cut down, the land changing, and how this affects their future.
👉What was inspiring is that these are not grown-ups or experts, but young children who already care deeply about their environment. In the true spirit of Roots & Shoots, they showed that change can begin with small voices, honest conversations, and a willing heart.
👉This meeting reminded us that when children are given space to think and speak, they become roots of change today and shoots of hope for tomorrow.
👉The future of Walela, Zambia and our planet is brighter because these young leaders are already rising🌱.

📌Simbarashe Dube Siziba, an environmental activist, together with Miss Climate Change Chipata, Madam. Tabitha Phiri delivered an impactful and engaging facilitation.
📌We look forward to more hands-on activities that will inspire and sharpen our learners’ appreciation of environmental hygiene and management. ♻️🌍

Today we were honored to be visited by one of the finest Youth Activist Simbarashe Dube Siziba who is advocating for Clean and Green Environment.
Our Director School programs had a fruitful conversation as they discussed on how best our learners can get involved in taking care of our environment at very young age.
We are so excited to see this program roll out.
