It's really interesting how time moves. A few years ago you guys were pupils and now you are former pupils Very soon you will be very big people running Government and companies. Your futures lie before you, waiting to unfold, one thing is certain: high school is over and you have all come to your first true milestone in your adult lives. You are no longer high school seniors, you are now high school graduates, ready to move on and face the world that exists beyond the teachers, cliques and class schedules that have defined much of our lives. With that said, we would like to congratulate the Grade 12 of 2017 on achieving this milestone and wish you all good luck in following your passions and fulfilling your dreams.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing on of Mrs. Phiri She was absolutely the best literature in English teacher I ever had and I was fortunate to have her in High School. Some of my fondest memories from school include the times I spent in her classes. Her passion to teach was matched only by her compassion for her pupils. She taught us Animal Farm, me playing the role of Napoleon the ruthless dictator was fantastic including singing the beasts of England. She was an amazing influence in my life and such a wonderful, amazing teacher,I will truly miss her!

A hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drive, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, but the world may be better place because I made a difference in the life of a child. Happy Teacher's Day!

2016 GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION (G.C.E) EXAMINATION RESULTS ARE OUT

The 2016 GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION (G.C.E) Examination Results have been officially released by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of General Education - Mr Henry C. Tukombe today Friday, 23rd September 2016 in Lusaka. This was announced at a media briefing held at the Ministry of General Education Headquarters this morning.

You can check for the 2016 G.C.E results using your Mobile Phone through the following procedure;
1. Open the message pad on your Mobile Phone
2. Type the Full 10 Digit Examination Number (Leave Space)
3. Type Examination Year (Leave Space)
4. Type Examination Grade and then
5. Send to 8383

For Example:
7609990001 2016 G12 and send to 8383
The SMS Service is available on ZAMTEL, MTN and AIRTEL at a cost of K4 only for each successful transmission. Kindly adhere to the above procedure to check for the 2016 GCE results.

NOTE:
Candidates are however, advised to collect the Original Results Transcripts from the respective Examination Centres and NOT Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) Secretariat or any Ministry of Education Offices.

Today Kabundi Secondary school is 42 years old. The school was opened on 27th July, 1974 by then minister of Finance Hon. Mulikita. It was built with funding from the World Bank to carter for children from the surrounding mine townships. Happy Birthday Kabundi Secondary School!!
