Not a skill (2-4 year-old: naming feelings using words instead of tantrums, looking at picture books, naming objects, listening to stories
5 year-old & above: reading aloud, short independent reading, discussing stories)
As days drift, late mornings, endless scrolling and we call it a holiday.
But that child isn’t resting.
They’re absorbing habits and values from people you didn’t choose.
You’ve been working hard & are ready for the new term, having secured their school fees.
School resumes in a week's time, but is your child ready?
It’s not too late to reset.

Start simple.
Wake them up earlier each day.
Cut screen time, replace it with something active (outdoor play).
Bring back reading, even 20 minutes helps.
Give small responsibilities.
Set an earlier bedtime.
Don’t aim for perfection. Aim for momentum/consistency.
The holiday is ending, but your influence must not!
This week can be used to refocus, rebuild habits, and reconnect.
So when your child returns to school, they’re not just going back—

Halo family 💛✨ Our little stars wrapped up the school term with fun, laughter, and more memories created. From nursery milestones to new Grade School adventures, they truly shined. At the same event, our Reception Class proudly received their certificates of completion — a celebration of hard work, growth, and all the tiny victories along the way. Grade 1, here they come! 🎓

And a big Kiddie Varsity thank you to our amazing super-mum, Tadza’s mother, whose generosity made the day extra special. She gifted us delicious food and a beautiful cake that sweetened every moment. The kids enjoyed every bite, and we’ll cherish the memories forever. We love you so much, ma’am. May the good Lord bless you abundantly.
