​We are thrilled to report on the success of our CHAU-ICTAZ AI Edition DEVCON held on November 28th!
​The event was honored by the presence of ICTAZ officials, who shared invaluable knowledge on the current landscape and future of Artificial Intelligence. We were also privileged to host the Vice President of ICTAZ from the University of Zambia, who provided inspiring insights.
​A huge thank you to our incredible student presenters—Mpundu, Natasha, and Mirriam—for their amazing and insightful AI presentations.
​The DEVCON was a great success, serving as a valuable platform for the Chalimbana community to dive deeper into learning AI.

We’re proud to announce that Njobvu W Emmanuel a Chalimbana University student, has been:

1. Selected* for the prestigious *Mukuba Unipod Rootlab Ignite Program 2025
2. Sponsored by the UNDP under the theme: "Igniting Tomorrow's Solutions"
3. Pitched his innovation* at the Innovation & Technology Summit (ITS) Kopala 2025 and received certification
4. Set to develop a prototype in 2026 to present at the Tech Expo to potential investors
5. On track to complete his project to MVP stage and deploy it
