This year marks five years since we officially registered The Music HQ. We didn’t have a building or a team of teachers but we had a vision and passion for what music education could be. A huge thank you to our incredible team of teachers - Emma-Jean, Helecia, Jamie, Jill, Lia, Lusanti, Melissa-Jane, and Uwe. Your dedication, passion, and care make everything we do possible.

And a special thank you to Eugene van der Merwe for the beautiful surprise cake, and to Arda Dinch from Wade’s Cakes for creating such a stunning (and delicious!) masterpiece.

We are so grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey with us 🤍

Angie was the very first official enrolment at The Music HQ, starting her piano lessons at the incredible age of 76. Today she celebrates the big 8-0, and she’s still coming for her piano lessons! Angie is a wonderful reminder that music has no age limit - curiosity, joy, and the love of learning can continue at any stage of life. Happy 80th birthday, Angie. We are so proud to be part of your musical journey. ❤️
