🏫🖤 WMPS CAME OUT ALL IN BLACK ⚫️⬛️🏴

On Friday, 18 September 2026, the WMPS community came together dressed in black 🖤 in solidarity and mourning for eight women who tragically lost their lives amid a devastating surge in gender-based violence.

Today, we remember the lives lost, stand with their families and loved ones, and reaffirm our collective call for an end to gender-based violence.

🖤 We remember. We mourn. We stand together. We say NO to GBV.

🚦 **ROAD SAFETY STARTS WITH US!** 🚸

Worcester Moslem Primary School was privileged to welcome the **Breede Valley Municipality (BVM) Traffic Department** for an insightful and educational visit focused on **road safety and responsible behaviour on our roads**. 👮‍♂️🚗

Our learners had the opportunity to learn important lessons about pedestrian safety, traffic rules, road signs, visibility, responsible road use and the importance of making safe choices every day.

A special **thank you to Mr Oliphant**, the representative from the BVM Traffic Department, for taking the time to engage with our learners and for sharing such valuable knowledge and practical road-safety messages. Your contribution made the visit both informative and memorable! 🙏👏

We also extend our appreciation to the entire **Breede Valley Municipality Traffic Department** for investing in the safety and education of our young people.

At Worcester Moslem Primary School, we believe that **education extends beyond the classroom**. Teaching our learners how to stay safe on our roads is an important part of preparing them to become responsible members of our community.

🚦 **Slow down. Stay alert. Follow the rules. Protect one another.**

**Stay Safe. Arrive Alive!** ❤️
**Together, we can build a safer community.**
