The Drakensberg Boys Choir School (DBCS) mission is to prepare boys for life and leadership through excellence in music, academics, sport, and social enrichment in a Christian environment. Music is the ministry of the Drakensberg Boys Choir.
DBCS builds character moulds and develops boys to harness the gift of music to bring hope, impact and positive change in South Africa and beyond. DBCS builds resilience, grows relationships, and fosters global ambassadors with music as the tool to spread its message of hope.

The boys who leave DBCS do so as well-adjusted young men who are adequately equipped to face the challenges of their late high school years and beyond.

Parents bring your boys along and come and experience what the Drakensberg Boys Choir School is all about at one of our 2024 open weekends!

My name is Ntando Ngcobo and I am the Head of Culture for 2024. The cultural space has always been a sanctuary for me. Before coming to Hilton, I attended the Boys Choir School, where I was head of school in my final year. My plan for 2024 is to provide every boy at Hilton with adequate exposure to our school’s cultural offering. I also want to offer surrounding communities the opportunity to share in our cultural environment. I hope to cultivate deeper levels of creativity and inspire aspiring performers to explore opportunities in the cultural realm.
I believe an exceptional cultural space unites people and enables us to create a masterpiece of shared passion and collective brilliance.
