Our dedicated team of passionate educators works closely with families to create a strong home-school connection. Together, we help children gain confidence, develop kindness, and foster a lifelong love for learning. The History of Our School

The story of The Little Red Hen, who began with just a grain of wheat, beautifully reflects the beginnings of our school. Founded in 1987 with just a handful of pupils and a strong vision for the future, Little Red Hen grew from the dedication, hard work, and personal initiative of its founders. At the time, there was only one other pre-primary school serving the Hillcrest and Winston Park area.

Guided by a family of educators spanning three generations, our school has flourished into the warm, nurturing environment it is today. We are proud to be registered with the Departments of Education, Health, and Social Development. School Operating Hours:

School starts at 8am Monday to Friday and closes at 12pm. We also offer a flexible aftercare program every school day! Holiday Care

Our Holiday Club provides a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for children during school holidays. It's a supervised program filled with opportunities to learn, play, and socialise in a relaxed setting. Contact us for further information or drop in to visit our beautiful school and meet our fantastic teaching staff.

Our playgrounds have been transformed and our little ones were bursting with excitement to try out the fantastic new jungle gyms and play areas.

A big thank you to Mark, Elvis and the Jungle Jim team for their incredible work!

Our little ones only get to be young once and we hope these new areas will make many more incredible childhood memories.
