National Youth Chefs Training Programme

Then the National Department of Tourism, in conjunction with Expanded Public Works Programme and the South African Chefs Association, has a great opportunity for you!
This is a national programme and therefore all 9 provinces will be participating.
The National Youth Chefs Training Programme helps young, unemployed people gain the skills necessary to succeed in the hospitality industry.
The criteria for acceptance into the programme
Between 18 and 35 years of age
A matric qualification
Matric-level English
South African citizenship
A certified ID copy and matric certificate
You have been unemployed for a minimum of 12 months.

Closing date for applications is 25 August 2017.

Dear students.

Please note that applications for NSFAS are now open. Visit the Nsfas website and follow few easy steps. You must have your documents scanned which are to be uploaded at the last step of the application. The documents are as follows:
1. Certified copy of your ID
2. Certified copy of your matric certificate, statement or June examination report
3. Certified copies of proof of income, bank statement ( accompanied by a SASSA letter for those getting a grant SASSA)
4. Proof of address
5. If parents are not working, please provide an affidavit
6. Certified copy of your parent's ID ( if deceased, provide a copy of death certificate)

We would like to remind you that the early closing date (1 August) for applications to study at NMMU in 2018 is fast approaching . We are also excited about yet another addition to the list of programmes to be offered at the George Campus from 2018, namely the Advanced Diploma in Business Studies, with an additional specialisation option, namely in Marketing Management (viable numbers permitting).
