🎶🎨💃 WHAT AN AMAZING M.A.D DAY! 💃🎨🎶

What a wonderfully special morning of Music, Art & Dance at Nyoni Education Hub! 🌿✨

It was fantastic to welcome the students from Embonisweni School to join us and share in the fun.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing facilitators who brought so much energy and creativity to the day:

🎶 Casterbridge Music Development Academy (CMDA) – introducing the children to the incredible sounds and rhythms of the marimbas
💃 Henry from Rhythm Dance Studio– getting everyone moving and trying out some fantastic new dance moves
🎨 Karien Bosman, our art teacher – creating wonderful African masks with the children, perfectly fitting our Heritage Day theme

And we even had a special guest from the Premier’s Office showing us that he has some serious rhythm on the marimbas! 🥁😄

A big thank you to Wimpy White River for generously donating delicious eats for everyone to enjoy. ❤️

And behind the scenes, Naomi Spencer put together this fabulous video so we can relive the magic of the day!

What a joyful celebration of creativity, culture, community and connection. We’re already looking forward to our next M.A.D adventure! 🌈

🎤✨ Bringing Words to Life! ✨🎤

Our students put their English skills to work with descriptive speeches, using expressive language, creativity and confidence to paint a picture with their words! 📚🗣️

At Nyoni, we encourage students to find their voice, think creatively and enjoy the process of learning. 🌿💛

🎲 Grammar, but make it a game! 🎲

At Nyoni’s Tutor Centre, English grammar comes to life through fun, interactive learning! Our students used a gambling-style game to spot and correct grammar errors — putting their language skills, quick thinking and a little competitive spirit to the test! Thank you Naomi Spencer 😄📚

Because learning doesn’t have to feel like work — when curiosity leads, creativity thrives! 🌿✨

🌿 “The best camp ever!” 🐘🏹🌊

That was the verdict from our Gr 5–7 students after an unforgettable adventure around Hazyview! From rafting down the Sabie River and testing our skills at archery with Siyavaya Adventures, to conquering the rope adventure park at Skyway Trails Adverture, every day brought a new challenge.

We learnt about snakes at Perry's Bridge Reptile Park, Hazyview spent an incredible time with the elephants at Elephant Whispers, cruised along the beautiful Da Gama Dam, swam, laughed, made memories and — most importantly — stepped outside our comfort zones and enjoyed each other’s friendship. ❤️

A huge thank you to Hannelien Thornhill Somers for keeping everyone wonderfully well-fed with the best camp meals, and to Renata Stewart for organising it all! 🙌

At Nyoni, learning isn't always about sitting in a classroom. Sometimes it's about adventure, courage, connection and discovering what you're capable of. 🌿✨

✨ Maths comes alive at Nyoni! ✨

After exploring symmetry and translations, our learners put their understanding into practice by creating their own tessellations — discovering patterns, movement and geometry through hands-on learning. 🔷🔶

In our special, child-centred and nurturing classroom, there is space to explore, question, create and learn at each child’s own pace. 🌿💛

This is what learning looks like at Nyoni Education Hub.

🎤 Learning to think. Learning to speak. Learning to listen.

Our Tutor Centre teens are putting their skills to the test in a team debate! 🗣️👏

Debating is so much more than arguing a point. It teaches learners to research, think critically, build an argument, listen to different perspectives, communicate confidently and work as a team.

At Nyoni Education Hub, we believe learning should prepare young people not just to pass exams, but to think for themselves and engage confidently with the world around them. 🌱
