🌈 PRE-SCHOOL:

🌿 To you, it might look like our Grade RRR friends are just playing… but so much learning is happening through play! 🛝✨

When our little ones climb, balance, swing and explore on the jungle gym, they are developing their gross motor skills, building strength and coordination, and gaining confidence with every step. 💪

They are also learning important social skills — taking turns, communicating with friends, working together, solving problems and showing kindness. ❤️

Play is not just play… it is a very important part of learning and growing! 🐝💛

Today's Scholar Spotlight: Sayira Thebedi
(Class of 2016 🎓)

Sayira Thibedi completed matric in 2016. This group paved the way for the future generations. 😊🤍

This is what she had to say...
"I went on to study Hospitality Management and graduated Cum Laude in 2020. 🌟

I went on to working in big hotel companies such as the Tsogo Sun hotel group. I gained skills and experience through a well known chef in Durban, Chef Qhawe, at Garden Court Marine Parade. I moved to Cape Town for a year and worked at the Southern Sun Hotel as a fulltime chef.

I’m currently a culinary practitioner (Lecturer) at Mpumalanga Regional training trust. I teach students how to cook. I teach them both culinary theory and practical.

I love being a chef and I hope you guys are producing more chefs like myself."

What an experience, what a privilege!

We are so proud of our MPC Committee who represented King's at the Challenge.

This challenge gives learners the opportunity to simulate the work of the South African Reserve Bank's Monetary Policy Committee, analysing economic data and defending an interest-rate decision.

🏆6th place overall! With over 180 schools participating, our prestigious 4 came sixth!

Thank you to Mr Witness Mufudza. Your guidance and leadership has helped shape these committee members to become contributing economists in our very own society.
