PHYSIOTHERAPY ISN’T JUST FOR SPORT. 🏃♀️
When you hear “physiotherapy”, you might think of a pulled hamstring, a running injury or getting back onto the sports field.
But physiotherapy is so much more.
At Lindsay Harris Physiotherapy, rehabilitation also plays an important role in neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease.
Why?
Because movement matters.
Rehabilitation can help people work on:
• Balance
• Walking
• Strength
• Posture
• Coordination
• Mobility
• Confidence and independence
And sometimes, the tools we use are surprisingly simple.
Like a ball. ⚽️
Over the next few posts, we’ll show you how something as simple as a ball can become a valuable rehabilitation tool — for sports rehabilitation AND neuro rehabilitation.
Because movement has no one-size-fits-all solution.

🤕 HEADACHE SERIES | PART 2
Headaches don’t always start in your head.
In Part 2 of our Headache Series, Reené Otto from Lindsay Harris Physiotherapy, who specialises in headache management, focuses on the important connection between head and neck pain.
In this video, Reené Otto demonstrates exercises designed to help improve neck strength, movement and control — all of which can play a role in managing certain types of headaches and neck-related pain.
🎥 Watch the video and follow along with Reené throughout the week for more exercises.
Remember, every headache is different. If you experience persistent or recurring headaches, a professional assessment can help identify what may be contributing to your symptoms.

Seasons of Change 🌿
A busy weekend of learning, sharing and representing the physiotherapy profession.
Reené represented physiotherapy at a multidisciplinary meeting, while Lindsay shared valuable insights into the musculoskeletal changes we experience throughout life — from puberty through to menopause.
Understanding how our bodies change, recognising periods of increased injury vulnerability, and knowing how to respond can make a real difference to how we move, feel and function through every season of life.
Because our bodies change. Our approach should too. 💚

Happy Women’s Day 🌸
To all the women who give, nurture, support, encourage and somehow keep everything moving…
Today is a reminder to pause, breathe and take care of YOU too. ❤️
Your strength doesn’t mean you always have to push through.
Rest. Move. Stretch. Laugh. Ask for help.
And remember — looking after yourself isn’t selfish. It’s essential.
Here’s to strong bodies, healthy minds and women who lift each other up. 🌿
You are amazing. Don’t forget it.
