Our Grade 11s had such a wonderful time engaging with the girls, sharing their experiences and answering their questions. It was a lovely opportunity to connect and give the learners a glimpse into life at Westville Girls’ High School.

We have officially wrapped up our Self-Defence Programme with our Grade 10 and 11 learners!

A huge thank you to FLAG Academy for equipping our girls with valuable self-defence techniques and practical skills that can help them feel more confident and prepared.

We hope our learners never have to put these skills into practice, but we are pleased to know that they now have the knowledge and confidence to draw on should they ever need it.

We are incredibly proud of our Interact Club, as well as learners from our other clubs, who took part in the CANSA Relay for Life this past weekend.

This year, we proudly entered six learner teams, with our girls showing incredible commitment, teamwork and compassion in support of such a worthy cause.

We are also thrilled to share that our learners achieved 2nd place for the most funds raised by a school!

Celebrating Our Very Own Devashree Kisten!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Devashree Kisten, who recently took on the exciting challenge of competing in The Taste Master SA (Junior) Season 3!

The competition brings together 12 talented young foodies for a culinary journey inspired by cuisines from around the world. Each week, the young chefs take on challenges focused on a different country, exploring its iconic dishes, ingredients and cooking techniques.

From handmade Italian pasta and classic French sauces to the bold flavours of Asia, every challenge tests their skill, creativity and culinary knowledge. At the final destination, only one young chef can take home the title, along with over R200,000 in prizes.

We are thrilled to see Devashree representing Westville Girls’ High School and wish her all the very best on this incredible culinary journey.
