It is happening now! Our Primary School Little Ones Science Projects are on display, and they have worked long and hard to bring their ideas to life. From creative experiments to colorful displays, these exciting projects showcase their curiosity and love for science. 🌟🔬

Promoting science in the Junior Phase is so important — it sparks imagination, encourages critical thinking, and lays the foundation for future innovators. We're so proud of our little scientists at Star College Primary for their enthusiasm and dedication! Well done to all of our amazing children! 👏🎉

GRADE 7 CAREER DAY A GREAT SUCCESS AT STAR COLLEGE PRIMARY👮‍♀️🧑‍🍳👩‍🌾🧑‍⚕️👩‍🔬🧑‍🔧👩‍✈️🧑‍🎨🧑‍💼

Star College Primary held a successful and inspiring Career Day for Grade 7 learners on 4 September 2026.

The aim of the day was to expose learners to different career paths and to guide them in making informed subject choices for high school and beyond.

We were privileged to welcome five distinguished guest speakers who shared their journeys, daily responsibilities, and valuable advice on education and career preparation:

Mr N. Govender - Marketing Manager, South African National Blood Service (SANBS)
Mrs K. Pillay - Risk and Compliance Manager, Nedbank
Dr. Coopsamy - Aesthetic Doctor
Mr Sandile Ndlovu - Animal Scientist
Mr J. Moodley - CEO, Meondo Holdings

Learners gained first-hand insight into careers in health, finance, science, marketing and business leadership. The speakers emphasised the importance of choosing the right subjects, working hard, pursuing further studies, and following one's passion.

The Grade 7s were fully engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and were visibly excited and inspired by the presentations.

We thank our guest speakers for their time, wisdom and encouragement. The Career Day was indeed a valuable and motivating experience for our future leaders.

🌟🎉 Star College's Primary Superstars Shine Bright at the Appreciation Breakfast! 🎉🌟

On Saturday, September 5th, we hosted a fantastic breakfast bash to celebrate our amazing primary learners who rocked the Olympiad, ⚖️ Soccer, ⚽ Volleyball, 🏐 Netball, and 🗣️ Debate! Each activity called for unique skills—brainpower and quick thinking for Olympiad, agility and teamwork for Soccer, coordination and strategy for Volleyball, speed and precision for Netball, and confidence plus eloquence for Debate—and our students nailed it all! 💪🎓

Kids, parents, coaches, and teachers gathered together for a joyful celebration of talent, hard work, and teamwork. The management cheered loud and proud, applauding our Olympiad champions for their smarts, our sports stars for their fierce performance, and our debate dynamos for their confidence and sharp words. 🏆👏

Every learner shined bright, and the school couldn’t be prouder! A huge thank you to parents and coaches for their unwavering support. Here's to many more wins and wonderful moments—Star College is bursting with pride! 🌟🎉✨

SCIENCE NEWS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our Star College learners have been selected for the International Science Fair!

Our learners attended the Regional Science Fair in August 2026. From this competition, 11 learners were shortlisted and from there, and 4 learners were selected to participate in the International Science Fair, to be held at the end of September.

The learners are:

Vaishnav Hariparshad Grade 9
Mahir Somera Grade 10
Kian Premlall Grade 10
