🥋 INTERNATIONAL KARATE | ARHAV RAMPARTHAB

Congratulations to Grade 8 learner Arhav Ramparthab, who was selected to represent his federation at the 10th International Karate Championship – Indian Challenger Cup in Kolkata, India.

Competing in the U14 Kumite and Kata divisions, Arhav delivered an outstanding performance on the international stage, returning home with two gold medals, one silver and three bronze medals.

A fantastic achievement and a proud moment for Arhav, his family and the Westville Boys’ High School community.

Football vs Hilton ⚽

Our final round of fixtures saw a competitive day against Hilton, with 9 wins, 1 draw and 6 losses across 16 matches.

As the season comes to a close, special recognition goes to several teams for their outstanding campaigns.

16B completed an unbeaten season with a perfect 7 wins from 7, scoring 24 goals and conceding just 4, while 15B also finished unbeaten with 7 wins from 7, scoring 22 goals and conceding only 3.

14C enjoyed an excellent season, winning 6 consecutive fixtures, with their only defeat coming narrowly against Maritzburg College’s 14A side.

A special mention also goes to our 14A, who completed an exceptional 18-game unbeaten season, with 17 wins and 1 draw, scoring 57 goals and conceding just 7.

Congratulations to all our players and coaches on their efforts and achievements throughout the season.

Congratulations to Ramano and Juan on an outstanding performance at the Africa Aquatics Zone IV Championships, bringing home an incredible:

🥇 8 Gold Medals
🥈 1 Silver Medal
🥉 8 Bronze Medals
🏆 5 Individual Championship Records

Juan was also named the Overall Swimmer in the 15–16 age category.

Glue guns, tape, side cutters, and a whole lot of creative energy!

Our Grade 9 Technology students have been diving deep into their GEC projects, building fully functional fire alarm and intrusion detection systems from scratch.

After endless rounds of circuit testing and troubleshooting, they brought their ideas to life by designing custom cardboard enclosures for their builds.

It was a fantastic hands-on break from the daily classroom routine and the excitement in the room was unreal!
