Highway 'B' League Champions!!!

Our 1st team boys took it home yesterday...

Starting the season with a 2-1 win against waterfall, the boys then played Sarnia Primary beating them 2-1, which would eventually be the final at a later stage.

We seemed to be cruising along until a loss to New Germany almost costed us the league. The boys had two remaining games and both were "must win" games in order to make the final.

We demolished Pitlochry 7-0 and now knew if we beat Ashley in the last game week we were heading to the final. What a tricky encounter and the boys dug deep to win 2-1.

The final was against a strong Sarnia Primary, both teams knew each other very well and none could break dead lock at half time. Both teams came out firing in the second half and Sarnia couldn't handle our Hgh Press! Berea West scored two quick goals, but it was not over...Sarnia pulled one back and it was a nail biting finish with Berea West holding them out and being crowned CHAMPIONS.

Well done to the Boys and Supporters.

This Sunday, as thousands of runners take on the challenge of the 99th Comrades Marathon, we proudly support and cheer on the parents from our Berea West Senior Primary School family who will be participating in this iconic event.

As part of the Creative Arts curriculum, our Grade 7 learners will be hosting a Cultural Day on Thursday, 18 June.

This exciting event will provide learners with an opportunity to explore and celebrate the rich diversity of cultures from around the world.

Learners will represent their chosen countries through traditional attire, art displays, and traditional cuisine, while sharing interesting facts about their country's heritage, customs, and traditions.

Parents are warmly invited to attend from 10:00am until the choral verses are completed.

We would like to thank our parents for their support and enthusiasm in helping our learners prepare for this special day. We look forward to a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity, and global awareness.

📚🏆 Congratulations to Noumaan Wahab on being named the Grade 6 Top Participant in the Reading Riot Regional Round!

This outstanding result has earned him a place at the Reading Riot National Finals, which will be held at the University of Pretoria on 27 June 2026.

We are proud of your achievement and wish you all the best as you compete on the national stage.
