A Tribute to Owen Kuyper
It is with profound sadness that we remember and honour Owen Kuyper, a remarkable educator, leader and principal whose impact on Crawford International will be felt for generations to come.
Over an extraordinary 21 years of service, Owen served as Principal across several Crawford International schools — Crawford Pretoria, Crawford North Coast, Crawford La Lucia, Crawford Bedfordview and Crawford Lonehill. Throughout his career, he devoted himself wholeheartedly to the growth and success of his schools, always placing the wellbeing, development and potential of every student at the heart of his leadership.
Owen was more than a principal. He was a mentor, a colleague, a source of wisdom and a steadfast presence in the lives of countless students, families and staff members. His commitment to education, his passion for people and his belief in what young people could achieve left an indelible mark wherever he served.
His 21 years of leadership represent a remarkable legacy, one built on dedication, integrity, compassion and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
We extend our deepest condolences to Owen’s family, friends, colleagues and to all those who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.
Thank you, Owen, for a lifetime of service, leadership and inspiration. Your legacy will live on in the many lives you touched and in the Crawford community you served with such distinction.
