How to SIGN the days of the week in SASL.
Top tips...
π€ Practice, practice, practice.
π€ Note how similar (and easy to remember) the signs MON, TUES, WED & THURS are.
π€ To sign FRIDAY:
Begin with a bent sideways "V" letter, directly under your chin. Then brush that "V" out & away from your chin twice.
π€ When signing SATURDAY:
Rest your hand under your chin, palm facing you, middle finger and thumb together (all other fingers extended). Then - keeping your hand in place - flick out your middle finger twice.
π€ When signing SUNDAY:
Begin with 2 hands placed flat onto your body, just above your chest. Then slide your hands down the front of your body, from chest height to waist height.
Keep both your hands flat and in contact with your body throughout the movement of this sign.
Imagine smoothing down your best Sunday suit / dress.
Note... Sometimes Sunday is signed using just one hand.
π€ Non-manual features / Facial expression: Neutral.

How to ask questions in SASL...
Here are a few of our TOP TIPS:
π€π» Always lean slightly forward when signing a question.
π€πΌ Always use your facial expression to show enquiry.
π€πΎ And... if you really (really) want to know something, then repeat the question sign at both the begining and the end of your sentence. E.g. WHO (is) THAT WHO?
π€πΏ Practice, practice, practice, as it is quite easy to mix up one Q sign with another.
We wish you a fabulous Tuesday & we'll see many of you in person (just now) in our free A-Z master class.
Much love.
