The importance of boredom for creativity cannot be overstated. Let yourself be bored, let your kids (in your home, not your class - bored kids in class without creative options are unpleasant 😜)be bored and after they’ve whined for a while, they’ll look around and find something that they actually want to do. The longer the gaps between when last they felt the unpleasant sensation of boredom the more they will moan before they find something. But give them time (and maybe a board game, Lego, strategically placed art supplies or an outdoor space) and they’ll find something 😊
