Services we offer at ALC:

1. Private Tutoring:
R300 per week (2 sessions).
R1000 per month for 8 sessions.

2. Editing:
R0.30 per word or R300 per hour.

Entails: Error checking in electronic document.
Text flow and expression.
Logical cohesion and structure.
Minor rephrasing.

3. Content and Developmental Editing:
R0.50 per word and R350 per hour.

Entails: Content editing looks not only at the text but at the content itself. The editor looks at the logical argument being expressed.
Developmental editing is similar to content editing, but it extends the role of the editor to that of a writing coach or adviser.

4. Proofreading:
R0.20 per word and R250 per hour.

Entails: Basic error checking on hard-copy printout before publishing.

5. Public Speaking:

5.1 MCing: R500 per hour

5.2 Keynote Speaking: R1000 per hour.

6. Facilitation:
RCL and SRC Workshop Facilitation per day.
