Young Free State Model Shines on National Stage
WELKOM – Seven-year-old Seraphim Nthoana, a Grade 2 learner at Edmund Rice School, is making waves in the modelling industry after achieving remarkable success at both provincial and national pageants.
Seraphim began her modelling journey at the age of six and quickly proved that talent has no age limit. In 2025, she competed in the Mr and Miss Face of Matjhabeng pageant, where she was crowned Miss Tiny Face of Matjhabeng, marking the beginning of an exciting career.
Building on that achievement, Seraphim recently represented the Free State at the Miss and Mr Junior South Africa competition, held in Pretoria from 1 to 4 July. Competing against contestants from across the country, she impressed the judges with her confidence, grace and stage presence.
Her outstanding performance earned her three prestigious accolades: Miss Petite Universal South Africa, Miss Petite South Africa Free State, and the Most Photogenic Award. She also gets an opportunity to represent South Africa in Turkey 🇹🇷
Despite her young age, Seraphim has demonstrated determination, discipline and passion for modelling. Her achievements have made her family, school and community proud, while inspiring other young children to pursue their dreams with confidence.
As she continues to balance her education with her growing modelling career, Seraphim's future looks exceptionally bright. With her talent and dedication, she is undoubtedly a young star to watch in the South African modelling industry.
