We wrapped up our first term of 2026 with a fun and delicious bake sale, beautifully organised by our amazing fundraising moms! ๐Ÿฐโœจ

A heartfelt thank you to all our parents for providing such delicious treats and for contributing so generously to make the day a success. Your support truly made a difference.

A special thank you to our dedicated fundraising team for giving your time so willingly and working so hard to make this event a memorable one. We appreciate you!

We are getting so close to reaching our goal for the new and improved jungle gym. We couldnโ€™t have done it without all of you.

At The Walk Academy, we believe movement is a big part of learning. This upgrade isnโ€™t just about play, it helps build essential gross motor skills that support confidence, coordination, and focus in the classroom. ๐Ÿ’š

The Walk Academy, an independent school based in Waterfall, Durban (KZN), has been proudly serving our community since 2023.

At The Walk Academy, this Tuesdayโ€™s art lesson combined Godโ€™s beautiful creation of leaves with primary colours to create an abstract autumn masterpiece. ๐Ÿ‚

We explored colour mixing, experimented with sponging techniques, learnt about negative painting using leaf stencils and used our imaginations to exercise our creative minds. It was a wonderful blend of nature, creativity and hands-on learning!

On Saturday, 21 February, we had the pleasure of meeting with our parent body for coffee, light refreshments, and an engaging information session. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, reflect on our shared vision, and ensure we continue moving in the right direction as a school community.

We also enjoyed a constructive Q&A session, where we discussed curriculum matters, explored workshop ideas to support future skills-based learning projects, and shared plans for exciting new expansion projects. It was a positive, informative, and inspiring morning, and we are grateful for the ongoing support and involvement of our families.

A special thank you to the Aver's Family for arranging the repair of our trampoline today๐Ÿฅณ. We really appreciate it, and so do all your children!

Our Grade 7 online learners had an unforgettable and slightly smelly adventure at the KwaZulu-Natal Sharks Board this morning! They discovered fascinating facts about sharks and enjoyed some exciting hands-on learning experiences. Exploring shark biology and seeing real specimens up close was something they wonโ€™t soon forget.

And of course, they also learned that a sharkโ€™s liver is so large and heavy that they needed a gym membership just to lift it!๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป
