Are you registered with the Department of Basic Education?
Yes! Wright Learning Academy is DBE registered, and our new premises have been approved by the municipality for use as a purpose-built preschool. Our environment has been intentionally designed for the little people we serve.
Are your teachers qualified in Early Childhood Development?
Absolutely. All our teachers are qualified, with qualifications across Early Childhood Development, Grade R, Barriers to Learning and Foundation Phase Education. Even our cook, who prepares our nutritious meals, is fully qualified in Hospitality.
What does a normal day look like?
Our daily programme reflects our holistic approach to learning and development. Children enjoy a balanced combination of circle time, mathematics and literacy activities, creative activities, story time, movement, structured learning and, importantly, plenty of PLAY! Our Grade R programme also includes carefully curated workbooks designed to build strong foundations and support school readiness.
What is included in the fees?
We believe quality early education should remain accessible. Our affordable fees include meals, learning materials and activities, giving parents greater certainty about their monthly preschool costs. We also offer sibling discounts!
How do you ensure the safety of my child?
Safety starts with people, policies and procedures. Our operational policies guide staff, establish clear safety protocols and ensure compliance — because no piece of equipment replaces attentive human supervision. This is supported by CCTV, controlled access, fire-detection systems, firefighting equipment and first-aid-trained staff. Above all, the safety and wellbeing of our children come first.
