We were created by God to honor Him and be in relationships. Relationship with Him, relationships with one another. In my daily work with children I see a huge disconnect between parents and children. Not because parents don't love their children. Just because life is busy and screens are taking over. It is so important to take stock and return to talking, playing and connecting. Healing takes place in social connectedness. Connection, co-regulation, attention, attunement and attachment all stem from truly being connected to our children.
