Today, we had the privilege of hosting representatives from Child Welfare Society Vryheid, Zululand, the South African Police Service Vryheid and the Vryheid Magistrate's Court, where they addressed our learners about the serious issue of bullying in schools.

The session focused on the different types of bullying, the impact it has on both the victim and the perpetrator(s), and the serious consequences that can arise from such behaviour. Learners were also educated about sexual harassment and sexual misconduct amongst learners, what these actions mean, and how they affect everyone involved.

The awareness programme was informative, engaging, and eye-opening. Our learners were excited and learned a great deal — and so did the teachers.

Programmes like these are extremely important for our children, teachers, and parents, as they help create safer, more respectful, and supportive school environments. We sincerely appreciate all the stakeholders who took the time to invest in the wellbeing and education of our learners.
