Simololang Primary School celebrated Africa Day through music and cultural unity during morning Devotion, where a Zimbabwean Teacher (Mr Muzenda) was singing in Shona and learners responded in Setswana, promoting African unity and cultural appreciation.

Since 1998, Biblionef South Africa has distributed 2,027,101 books in South Africa's 11 languages, and Braille, to schools and children’s organisations across the country.

That’s more than two million opportunities for children to encounter stories in their own languages. To be read to. To imagine. To recognise themselves in a story.

From rural villages to township communities, from small ECD centres to established school libraries, each book represents a partnership and a shared belief that access to books matters.

This milestone belongs to every donor, partner, educator, and supporter who has walked this journey with us.
