Dagbreek will be going on our first ever excursion this coming Wednesday after 42 months in operation ✨️

This is one of our biggest milestones reached and i am super proud of our team,the parents and especially our learners ❤️

No DIAGNOSIS will stand between our children,their growth and the ability to feed their curiosity ✨️

Visual Stimming 🤸‍♀️🔦

Visual stimming involves behaviors that engage sight, such as looking at lights for a long time or frequently blinking or rolling your eyes.

For children with autism, visual stimming may include repetitive behaviors such as staring at objects like ceiling fans or lights, moving fingers in front of the eyes, hand-flapping, eye tracking, and object placement.

In general, visual stimming behaviors can be categorized as follows:

♡Looking at lights or shiny objects
♡Blinking or rolling eyes frequently
♡Moving fingers in front of the eyes
♡Hand-flapping
♡Staring at spinning objects like ceiling fans or turning toy car wheels
♡Tracking objects with eyes
♡Arranging objects in certain patterns
