🌞 MTHIMKHULU PRIMARY SCHOOL FAMILY FUN DAY! 🌞

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We’re excited to remind you that our Family Fun Day is happening this Saturday, 8 November 2025, from 09:00 to 16:00 at Mthimkhulu Primary School! 🎉

🎟️ Tickets will also be sold at the gate — Learners R50 | Parents R70

🍗 Please bring your own meat for the braai. We’ll have a few braai stands available, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
🥤 Refreshments are allowed, but please no glass bottles.
⛱️ Don’t forget your gazebos and camp chairs for comfort throughout the day.

Expect an unforgettable day filled with fun activities like egg racing, sack racing, tug-o-war, face painting, DJ music, costumes, jumping castles, and slides! 🎶🎈

Let’s come together as the Mthimkhulu family to celebrate, laugh, and make lasting memories! 💛💙

Today we celebrated World Read Aloud day by having a special assembly where our learners were reading. Very important to note is that this is NOT World English day, it is World Read Aloud day. Therefore, we encourage learners to read aloud in any language! We are encouraging them to keep the tradition of reading at school and at home. Leaders are readers!

🥳🤸🏽‍♀️We had a very successful sports day on Friday at our interhouse level and we’re ready to train hard and harder for our cluster level from Monday. 🤭

🤗We have embarked on an exciting journey where we have the big five interhouses 🏠 , our learners adhered by their dress code and participated for their respective houses in all sporting codes available of their choice.🥳🥳🥳
Our houses 🏠 are:
The Elephant 🐘 House- they wear brown colour clothing for interhouse healthy competitions 🤎
The Leopard 🐆 House- they wear orange colour clothing for their interhouse healthy competition 🧡
The Rhino 🦏 House- they wear green colour clothing for their interhouse healthy competition 💚
The Baffallo🐃 House- they wear blue colour clothing for their interhouse healthy competition 💙
The Lion 🦁 House- the mighty Lions wear red colour clothing for their interhouse healthy competition ❤️
