MACS - Medieval Armed Combat School Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) club based in Pretoria, Gauteng Province, South Africa.

The Medieval Armed Combat Society (MACS) established in 2001, is dedicated to accurate recreation of Medieval and Early Modern fighting styles in modern times. For over a decade, MACS has been an active HEMA group both nationally and internationally, with instructors regularly attending and competing at international events. MACS offers training in a wide range of European weapon systems, a broad

knowledge base and is, most importantly, a fun and interactive experience. Classes offered;
– Introduction to Swordplay, Beginners and Open Days with Anja Roberts
– Spanish Rapier & Dussack with David Dixon.
