We rush through the days without meaning to. A blur of schedules, checklists, and just-one-more-things. Always moving. Always behind.
We call it productivity. But mostly… it’s just survival.

And then our children ask us to slow down.
Not with words, but with wonder. With dawdling footsteps. With questions. With a need to go at the pace of presence.
And we resist — because everything in us has been wired to keep going.

But maybe they’re not the ones lagging behind. Maybe we’re the ones who’ve forgotten how to be here.

Childhood isn’t meant to be efficient. It’s meant to be felt. Savoured. Lived in real time.
And yes — including our children might slow us down…
But maybe that’s the whole point. ❤️
