29 March 2016 was the launch of mzansionline by the South African national libraries in sharpeville library to promote community libraries services that are available online and the donation made by the Melinda and Bill gates foundation in support of this initiative.

The Global Libraries Programme has benefited more than thirty countries in transforming and upgrading library services at international level.
In South Africa, the programme has been approved as a two years pilot project hosted by the National Library of South Africa (NLSA) and the Department of Arts and Culture (DAC), and funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

on the 11th of December 2015 will be hosting our end-year party as libraries to end what we call fruitful year of 2015 at caravan park but then only employees are allowed there,hoping will end this year the way we started peace be still!!!
we will be closing at 13h00 today 04/12/2015 will be attending a farewell ceremony of our colleagues tomorrow 05/12/2015 will be opened as usual.
