**🎯 YOUR 1ST, 2ND & 3RD CHOICES MATTER!**
Don't choose your alternatives randomly. Before submitting, consider:
✅ Your marks and APS
✅ Your strengths and interests
✅ Admission requirements
✅ Career opportunities
✅ Employment prospects
✅ Whether you'd genuinely be happy studying your 2nd or 3rd choice

Some universities allow only a limited number of programme choices — e.g. UJ currently allows two. Always read the institution's rules carefully.

**💰 NEED FUNDING?**
Investigate NSFAS and confirm the current eligibility and funding requirements.

🎓🏫 UNIVERSITY & NSFAS APPLICATIONS — APPLY EARLY!

Dear Learners & Students,

Your future is too important to leave to the last minute! 🚀🎓

If you plan to study at university, apply as early as possible. Universities have strict admission quotas for programmes, and once the available spaces are filled, your application may not be considered—even if you meet the requirements.

⏰ DON’T WAIT FOR THE CLOSING DATE!

🎯 CHOOSE WISELY — ALL THREE CHOICES MATTER!
Give serious thought to your 1st, 2nd and 3rd programme choices. Consider your: ✅ Interests & strengths
✅ Academic results
✅ Career opportunities
✅ Subjects you enjoy
✅ Long-term career goals

💰 NSFAS: Make sure you understand the current NSFAS eligibility and academic requirements before applying. If you are referring specifically to a 60% academic progression requirement, verify it against the current NSFAS rules for your funding category.

🌟 APPLY EARLY. CHOOSE CAREFULLY. PLAN YOUR FUTURE.

The opportunity you want may have limited seats. Don't wait until they're gone! 🇿🇦🎓

🇿🇦✨ YOUTH DAY 2026 ✨🇿🇦

50 Years Since the Soweto Uprising

Theme: "Honouring the Legacy, Inspiring the Future" 🌟📚

Today, we commemorate the courage, resilience, and sacrifice of the youth of 16 June 1976 who stood against an unjust education system and fought for the right to quality education and equal opportunities. ✊🏾📖

Fifty years later, we honour their legacy by embracing education, pursuing excellence, and using our knowledge to build a better South Africa. 🎓💡🚀

May the bravery of the youth of 1976 continue to inspire today's generation to dream boldly, lead with purpose, and create positive change in their communities. ❤️💚💛🖤

The youth of yesterday fought for opportunity. The youth of today must seize it.
