✏️ Learning Spelling in More Ways Than One! 🌟

Our Grade 1 and 2 learners are making spelling hands-on with the VAKT method — Visual, Auditory, Kinaesthetic and Tactile learning! 💙

Instead of simply memorising words, our learners get to see, hear, build and physically interact with the letters as they learn. 🔤✨

By using different senses, spelling becomes an engaging and meaningful learning experience — helping our learners strengthen their word recognition, spelling and confidence along the way.

From colourful letters to hands-on word building, learning really does come alive at Wings for Life! 🌈📚

Throwback to Casual Day – 4 September 2026!

This year’s Casual Day theme, “Beating as One,” gave us the perfect opportunity to come together in a very special way.

Our students joined in a fun and energetic drum-beating session, creating rhythms, making music and, most importantly, sharing the experience together. 🥁✨

Different abilities. Different personalities. Different rhythms.

But when we come together, we can create something beautiful.

At Wings for Life School for Special Education, we celebrate inclusion, connection and the incredible things our students can achieve when we beat as one. ❤️

💙 BEATING AS ONE 💙

This past Friday, our Wings for Life family came together for a Casual Day filled with colour, smiles, laughter and, most importantly, heart. 🫶

With the theme “Beating as One”, we celebrated what happens when we stand together — supporting one another, creating awareness and reminding ourselves that every heart, every person and every contribution matters.

From the biggest smiles to the little moments of joy, Friday was a beautiful reminder that together, we are stronger. Together, we make a difference. Together, we beat as one. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day so special!
