A Heartfelt Thank You to Freshlinq Market Vanderbijlpark

This morning at 4:45, myself and some of our Rykies Daycare staff had the privilege of coming to the market to help out a little.

We did this to give back in honor of Nelson Mandela Day — 67 minutes of our time. It was a wonderful experience.

We are so privileged that we can just walk into a shop and buy our veggies and fresh products, but we often forget the hard work that goes on behind the scenes.
There is someone on a forklift, someone behind the cashier office, people packing the produce, someone making sure prices are on products, and so much more.

We only did a small amount, but the experience was amazing.
For that reason, I want to thank each and every worker at our market. Without these amazing people and our farmers, we wouldn’t have any food.

So, me and my team also gave a little back — just a small act of kindness to say thank you.
We also blessed all the staff with party packs for their children.

From all of us at Rykies Daycare, we just want to say THANK YOU.
We appreciate you, we see you, and we are grateful for you.
Also a huge thank you to my amazing staff for helping out in this early hours of the morning.
