🌻🌻Here are 5 simple, practical tips parents can use to support reading skills at home:🌻🌻

1. Read together every day – Even just 10–15 minutes of reading aloud helps children hear new words, build comprehension, and develop a love for books.

2. Talk about what you read – Ask open-ended questions (“What do you think will happen next?”) to build critical thinking and understanding.

3. Create a print-rich environment – Keep books, magazines, and even labels or charts around the house where kids can see and interact with words.

4. Make it fun and interactive – Use silly voices, act out stories, or let your child retell the story in their own words.

5. Be a reading role model – Let your child see you reading for enjoyment — kids who see adults reading are more likely to value it themselves.
