This month, we are incredibly grateful to MindRubiks Psychometric Assessments & Industrial Psychology for generously donating a complete Subject or Career Choice Psychometric Assessment valued at R1,950 to the Things We Don’t Talk About Foundation NPC
And here is what makes this collaboration even more special: MindRubiks is donating the service in full, which means 100% of the winning bid will go to the Foundation.
The funds we raise through our monthly auctions help us work towards something at the very heart of our mission: helping people who need addiction rehabilitation but simply cannot afford access to treatment.
💙 WHAT YOU ARE BIDDING ON
The successful bidder receives ONE comprehensive Subject or Career Choice Assessment for one learner. It can assist a Grade 9 learner with Grade 10 subject selection, or a Grade 11/12 learner with future career direction.
The service includes an aptitude assessment, interest assessment, personality assessment, thinking-process assessment, structured interview, comprehensive feedback session and detailed psychometric assessment report.
The assessment takes approximately 5 hours, with an approximately 1-hour feedback session scheduled separately. It can be completed online or in person in Vanderbijlpark, in English or Afrikaans. The voucher is transferable and valid until 31 August 2027.

🔹 Starting bid: R500
🔹 Minimum bid increments: R100
🔹 Auction opens: 14 September 2026
🔹 Auction closes: 25 September 2026
🔹 Bids must be placed in the comments on this original Foundation auction post.
🔹 Each new bid must be higher than the current highest valid bid.
🔹 Edited comments will not be accepted as bids.
🔹 The highest valid bid visible when bidding officially closes will be declared the winner.
🔹 If two identical bids are received, the bid posted first will take precedence.
🔹 The winning bidder will be contacted by the Foundation and payment instructions supplied.
🔹 Payment must be made directly to the Things We Don’t Talk About Foundation NPC within 24 hours of being notified. If payment is not received within that period, the Foundation reserves the right to approach the next-highest bidder.
🔹 The voucher may not be exchanged for cash.
🔹 Booking is essential and is subject to availability with MindRubiks.
🔹 The voucher is valid for ONE learner, is transferable, and expires on 31 August 2027.
🔹 In-person assessments take place in Vanderbijlpark; an online option is available.
🔹 The Foundation does not provide the psychometric service. The assessment, recommendations, scheduling and professional service are provided by MindRubiks.
🔹 By submitting a bid, the bidder confirms that they have read and accepted these auction terms.
🔹 100% of the amount received from the successful bid goes to the Things We Don’t Talk About Foundation NPC.
