MISSING HIKER FOUND ALIVE 🧗🏻‍♂️💪🏼

After an overnight search, Berg Protection Services and the Mountain Rescue Team successfully located a missing hiker beneath Rhino Peak this morning using a helicopter.

The hiker, who endured freezing temperatures of approximately -10°C, suffered from hypothermia and frostbite and was transported to hospital for further treatment.

We are especially proud that Berg Protection Services Academy cadets formed part of the rescue operation putting their training into action while supporting this successful mission.
